Both Arthur Leclerc and Clement Novalak have escaped without injury after a scary crash between the pair during the Sunday morning Formula 3 race in Austria. Leclerc was lining up Victor Martins on the run down into Turn 4 when he attempted to make a move up the inside. But, with the gap closing, Leclerc ended up wrong footed and ended up on the grass and lost control. Losing his front wing, Leclerc speared across the apex of the corner, with the Prema driver sideswiping the Trident at high speed. It was a hard hit and, after a few minutes of catching their breath, both drivers climbed gingerly from their cars before approaching each other to shake hands. ART's Frederik Vesti, part of the Mercedes F1 driver academy, went on to win the race after conditions returned to green.
