Australian Grand Prix 2022

Video: Go on a lap of the new Albert Park F1 circuit!

Significant changes have been made to the Australian Grand Prix venue for F1's return to the country in 2022.

Formula 1 heads back to Australia this weekend in what will mark the first racing action at Albert Park since the 2019 season.

After the 2020 event was called off due to COVID-19, organisers embarked on a major renovation project, with the track undergoing various changes.

Included was an overhaul of the pit lane and transformation of the chicane at Turns 9 and 10 into a high-speed straight, while the entire circuit has been resurfaced.
