Max Verstappen holds an eight-point lead over Lewis Hamilton as he bids for his first-ever F1 title, which the Dutchman can secure in Saudi Arabia if results go his way.
To achieve the feat at the all-new Jeddah International Circuit, Verstappen needs to outscore Hamilton by 18 points - generating an insurmountable 26-point advantage for the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
F1 has marked the occasion by releasing special cartoons of the two title contenders, starting with an alternate look at 24-year-old Verstappen's career so far.
Meanwhile, Hamilton is looking to make history and become the first F1 driver to claim eight titles.
Hamilton won his first championship with McLaren back in 2008, during only his second season in the sport. Having moved to Mercedes in 2013, he's won six of the last seven titles to draw level with Michael Schumacher.
