Max Verstappen was recently left stumped by an F1 fan given the question posed left him facing a 'hard-to-choose' problem.

The four-time F1 champion faced questions from fans during a Team Redline Q&A, and one left him trying to find the answer.

Verstappen was asked to name his favourite race from his F1 career so far, a tall order given the 27-year-old has 203 starts.

The Red Bull driver failed to pick just one race, with his first victory in the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix, and the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, in which claimed his maiden title, amongst his answers.

However, the Red Bull driver also explained the satisfaction of winning a race by a large margin, adding to what was a difficult question to resolve.

When asked as to his favourite race, Verstappen answered: "It's hard to choose.

"First of all, I don't remember all of them, but I think my first race win was very emotional.

"Then at the same time, winning your first championship. These kinds of milestones are incredibly important, so they have to be one of your favourite races.

"But then at the same time, winning a race by 30 seconds, which I think [he achieved] in Hungary, maybe once in Austria as well.

"When everything is just going really well, the whole weekend, that can also be really enjoyable."

Verstappen also mentioned his staggering victory in last season's Brazilian Grand Prix, which saw him recover from 17th on the grid in wet conditions.

"And of course, we cannot forget Brazil, because that was just incredibly important at that stage of the season," added Verstappen.

"But that was very stressful in the wet and coming from the back. Of course, it's enjoyable afterwards, but at the time, when you're driving, it's not that enjoyable because it's quite stressful."
