Max Verstappen's dominance over F1 has resulted in yet another record being broken after the São Paulo Grand Prix.

The Red Bull driver has been in imperious form and took his 17th victory of the season at Interlagos to extend his own record for most in a campaign.

But the victory confirmed Verstappen would break Alberto Ascari's 71-year record for the highest percentage of race wins in a season. The Italian won six of eight races in 1952 for a percentage of 75.

Verstappen's 17th from a maximum of 22 races means his win ratio cannot be lower than 77.3 per cent. This can rise to 81.8 per cent with one win from the final two races, whilst triumph in both will tick the needle to 86.4 per cent.

Find the list of the highest win percentages below! *Only 20 races have taken place so far.
