Max Verstappen says Spa-Francorchamps is his favourite circuit on the Formula 1 calendar, so he is already looking forward to the Belgian Grand Prix at the end of August. Verstappen, who is second in the Drivers' Championship to Lewis Hamilton, often gets a huge amount of support at F1's annual appearance in Belgium and loves the nature of the track where he is yet to win at. "It’s my favourite track on the calendar and it’s always nice to drive there," said Verstappen. "I hope we can have a great result, but I will just enjoy driving the laps. “Overall, it’s been a good start for us, we’ve been really competitive. But we need to be there at the end of the season as well, because that’s what you work for as a team, so let’s hope it’s going to be like that. "We keep pushing, we will never give up and we will focus on ourselves. We’ve had two very unlucky races but nothing is lost, it’s still a very long season." Verstappen has won five races in 2021 as Red Bull immediately had the pace to challenge Mercedes at the start of the year. Despite not winning the season-opening Bahrain GP, Verstappen says the car felt very good from day one. "It felt nice to drive," said Verstappen. "But it’s always difficult to tell initially how it’s going to be, but we were competitive and looking good right from the start."
