Max Verstappen has quashed suggestions that he wants to jump ship now that Red Bull have potentially been caught by McLaren and Ferrari, with leaving the Austrians not being on his mind. 

After building a sizeable lead in the opening rounds of the 2024 F1 season, Verstappen has seen his championship advantage cut to just 31 points after finishing sixth in the Monaco Grand Prix.

The ultimate recovery of an F1 giant

McLaren team principal Andrea Stella would have bitten your hand off 12 months ago if he was told that the Woking-based outfit would be in title contention after eight races in 2024. 

This time last season, the giant of Formula 1 was in a world of trouble and looking doomed for a bottom-half of the table finish in the constructors' championship.

Verstappen offers F1 help to solve Monaco criticism

Max Verstappen has stated he is open to assisting Formula 1 with discovering solutions to improve the Monaco Grand Prix spectacle.

Last weekend's race was labelled boring by many fans with drivers struggling to overtake around the narrow venue.

Silly Season: Sainz holding the key for the bottom-half teams

Carlos Sainz is playing a key role in the 2025 Formula 1 driver market. 

As it stands, Mercedes does not seem a possibility for the current Ferrari driver, and Red Bull is also said to be on the verge of extending Sergio Perez's contract. As a result, Sainz will therefore not be reunited with his former team-mate Max Verstappen

Russell sends Mercedes' rivals warning over crucial F1 rule change

George Russell has declared that Mercedes is in a "really great place" with its 2026 power unit ahead of the rules revamp.

The turbo hybrid units are to undergo their biggest changes since adoption in 2014 for '26, with the MGU-H being ditched with beefed-up electrical systems set to boost power for drivers with the chassis also set to undergo major work.
