Max Verstappen took a grid penalty at the Belgian Grand Prix when Red Bull opted to extend his pool of allowable power unit components.
As the Milton Keynes team has done for the past three season, it strategically chose to take its punishment at Spa-Francorchamps - a circuit it knew allowed for overtaking, and therefore, opportunities to move back through the field.

Ex-F1 driver David Coulthard believes embattled Red Bull driver Sergio Perez can win for the Milton Keynes team this season - if he re-captures his form, which has been left wanting of late.

Red Bull chief engineer Paul Monaghan has conceded in a joint interview involving RacingNews365, that it was a "simple conclusion" to remain with a team that has now lost two of its major players this season.
F1 was stunned when Red Bull announced on May 1 that Adrian Newey would be leaving the team in early 2025 after 19 years' service. At the time, there were rumours sporting director Jonathan Wheatley was seeking a move away, potentially becoming a team principal.
