Max Verstappen has joined Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher in being named to the exclusive Time 100 list.
Whilst the Dutchman makes the most recent edition, for 2024, Hamilton was included on the list in 2020, with Schumacher in 2005 - a year after his seventh F1 drivers' title.
The Time 100 list covers a range of notable people and areas, from world leaders to writers to fashion icons and sports people.
Alongside Verstappen are athlete's such as Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and A'ja Wilson, two-time WNBA winner and most valuable player.
Sean Gregory, Time's senior sports correspondent, included Verstappen in the list, singing the driver's praises.
"Verstappen is so confident behind the wheel that during at least one race he’s been able to keep an eye on the screens around the track in order to watch the battle going on behind him," he wrote.

Verstappen has dominated Formula 1 since winning his maiden drivers' title in 2021. Whilst that season was a closely fought battle with Hamilton, his two subsequent championships have been more straightforward affairs.
Since the start of the 2022 F1 season, when the new ground-effect era regulations were introduced, Verstappen has 37 grand prix victories from a possible 48. Last year, he set a record of 10 consecutive race wins en route to 19 in total from 22 grand prix.
Whilst periods of one team or driver supremacy is not uncommon, the manner in which Verstappen has been able to ease to race wins has been often cited as a differentiator between him and those who have come before, such as Hamilton and Schumacher - neither of whom made the list in their 20s.
At 26-years-old, the Dutchman is one of the youngest people named to the 2024 edition of the Time 100 list, with Palestinian photojournalist Motaz Azaiza making the list at 25 years of age.
