Max Verstappen has retained his fifth place finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix after stewards opted to take no further action for the late Lewis Hamilton collision.

Already frustrated by Red Bull's strategy calls in the race, Verstappen was trying to mount a challenge for the podium after dropping to fifth after his final pit-stop.

Oscar Piastri has taken a first career win in the Hungarian Grand Prix, as team-mate Lando Norris ignited a team order controversy.

Piastri took the lead on the opening lap and was comfortably leading before the final round of pit-stops, where the team opted to pit Norris first to cover off Lewis Hamilton behind.

McLaren issue ‘extremely worried’ stance after Norris radio debate

McLaren team principal Andrea Stella has stated he would be “extremely worried” if Lando Norris did not argue the team order call during the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Norris moved ahead of team-mate Oscar Piastri for the lead of the race after McLaren pitted the Briton one lap earlier in a bid to cover off an undercut threat from Lewis Hamilton.

Verstappen facing 'behind-closed-doors talks' after Red Bull criticism

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has confirmed he will hold behind-closed-doors talks with Max Verstappen over his criticisms of the team and colourful language during a tempestuous Hungarian Grand Prix.

The three-time F1 champion often voiced his frustration during the 70-lap race at the Hungaroring, be it about the car, situations on track, and particularly team strategy, resulting in occasionally tense exchanges with engineer Gianpiero Lambiase.

Ricciardo responds to Red Bull 'hurry up' claim as Perez speculation swirls

Daniel Ricciardo has denied claims senior Red Bull bosses have given him a hurry-up as speculation continues to swirl around its driver line-up.

The Australian has had an up-and-down season at RB, but has been linked with a potential return to the senior team as Sergio Perez's form continues to nosedive, with the Mexican crashing out of Q1 in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix.
