Verstappen complains about Hamilton in final practice

Max Verstappen wasn't best pleased with Lewis Hamilton's driving in final practice, getting on the team radio to complain about the Mercedes driver.

Max Verstappen may have pipped Lewis Hamilton to top spot in the final practice session ahead of qualifying, but the Dutch driver wasn't altogether pleased with his championship rival's driving. Verstappen felt that Hamilton had gotten in his way in the final sector of the lap having failed to let the Red Bull by cleanly, and got onto the radio to say “is it him again behind? Unbelievable, this guy in the last sector.” Verstappen went on to finish the session in top spot, just over a tenth clear of Hamilton as the pair edge towards another qualifying showdown as the title battle intensifies. On Thursday, Verstappen explained that he thinks it's very important that the battle with Hamilton remains respectful. "It's very relaxed," Verstappen told media, including RacingNews365. "I think as you can see, when we walk in these kind of things [press conferences], we always get on very well. And I think when you just respect each other, and I think when you say when you can say to each other, when the other one has done a good job or a better job. I think that is very important."
