Max Verstappen has called for improvements at Red Bull in its faltering constructors' championship defence whilst singing the praises of Oscar Piastri.
Paired with the Dutchman's closest championship rival, Lando Norris, an increasingly accepted view is that the Woking-based team currently enjoys the best driver duo in the series, something that has been pushed by McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown for some time.

Verstappen convinced Formula E star would 'overshadow him' in F1
Max Verstappen has told Formula E's Oliver Rowland he would be "overshadowing him" if he competed in Formula 1.
The surprising remark has been made by Rowland's former Nissan team-mate Sacha Fenestraz, who partnered the Briton in the all-electric series last season but was comfortably and regularly beaten by him.

New F1 GP labelled 'a scam and not profitable' as politicians wage war
The Madrid Grand Prix is at the centre of a vicious debate between local politicians over its future viability, with one party labelling it "a scam and not profitable".

F1 presenter handed driving ban after road crash
Channel 4 F1 presenter Billy Monger has received a driving ban for crashing his road vehicle into three parked cars.
The 25-year-old was convicted of driving without due care and attention at Guildford Magistrates' Court in connection with the incident that occurred on January 19 earlier this year.
