Verstappen and Hamilton might have to contend with potential dust storm

The Bahrain Grand Prix is all probability going to be a dusty affair with a sand storm on the horizon. However, these conditions won't be bad enough for the first race of 2021 F1 season to be called off.

If the weather reports are to be trusted then the Bahrain Grand Prix, the first race of the 2021 F1 season, could be a very dusty affair with a sand storm predicted to hit the venue on Sunday. Luckily, the magnitude of the storm won't be bad enough for the race to be called off, though, with rising wind speeds and extra sand to deal with on the track surface, the drivers themselves might be in for a tricky race. A fierce north-westerly wind seems to be stirring up the desert dust, which sometimes causes poor visibility. The biggest dust clouds are expected to hit the circuit before the race starts though conditions will gradually improve over the course of Sunday. Wind speeds are expected to be in the region of 65 kmph. The prescence of a strong wind has contributed to a drop in the overall temperature with drivers facing a pleasant 24 degrees celsious as they prepare for the main event on Sunday.
