Valtteri Bottas has been released from the medical centre and is "okay" following a huge accident in the Mexico City Grand Prix.
On his 43rd lap, as the Finn applied the brakes for Turn 1 at maximum speed, he suffered a front-left suspension failure, which meant he lost control of the Cadillac.
Fortunately, the car went into the TecPro barriers rear first and not broadside or head-first, which minimised some of the impact for the 10-time grand prix winner.
Medical personnel and an ambulance were deployed, although Bottas was able to climb from the car himself before going off for a medical check.
After this, the team provided a medical update on his condition.
"Following a precautionary medical assessment, Valtteri Bottas has been released and is okay," read a team statement.
"He has been excused from all post-race media duties, including the TV pen and written media pen."
Cadillac also pledged to "investigate the on-track incident fully" after Bottas's failure.
