Isack Hadjar and Pierre Gasly both crashed out of the Miami Grand Prix independently of one another on the sixth lap in Florida.
There was chaos and confusion at the Miami International Autodrome, with the former colliding with the wall after clipping the awkward, technical chicane towards the end of the lap, breaking the steering column of his Red Bull.
Meanwhile, the latter was flipped whilst battling against Liam Lawson heading into the final proper corner, but thankfully was able to climb out of his Alpine.
The safety car was subsequently deployed, with the Racing Bulls also forced into retirement.
That incident between the pair is being investigated by the stewards, and if Lawson is found at fault for causing the collision, his penalty would carry over to the Canadian Grand Prix.
Nico Hulkenberg also retired from the race, having sustained damage to his Audi. He was seen pitting for a new front wing at the end of the first lap.
