Norman Nato's exit from Nissan and Maximilian Günther's departure from DS Penske have both been confirmed, as Formula E silly season prepares to ignite.
Nato leaving Nissan has been expected for the vast majority of the campaign, with him for a second consecutive season having failed to support Oliver Rowland or the Japanese manufacturer in the teams' standings.
The Frenchman ended the recently concluded campaign second-to-last in the drivers' championship on just 20 points, a staggering 117 less than Rowland. Victor Martins is the favourite to partner Rowland next season.
He is leaving Formula E to pursue ventures elsewhere, with Nissan team principal Tommaso Volpe having confirmed his departure after the London finale.
"I want to take the opportunity also to wholeheartedly thank Norman, who has been a huge part of our project in Gen3," said Volpe.
"He’s been with us for three out of these past four years and took the very first podium of Nissan Formula E Team back in Season 9. He’s been fundamental to the success we’ve had thanks to his commitment and hard work both on and off the track, and we wish him all the best."
As for Günther, the German is reported by The Race to be set to join Envision for the start of Gen4 next season. Envision announced the exit of both Sebastien Buemi and Joel Eriksson last week, opening two seats.
Season 12 was a poor one for Günther, who took to social media on Monday to announce his exit from DS Penske, saying: "London has been my final race weekend with DS Penske.
"Two seasons, many memorable moments, race wins, pole positions and challenges we’ve overcome together. I’m very grateful to everyone in the team for their commitment and contribution, but above all for the close relationships that have developed along the way. It’s been a great chapter in my career.
"The Gen4 era awaits and I’m really excited for what’s ahead."
