All 10 Formula 1 teams were within cost cap limits for the 2023 accounting period, but Alpine and Honda made procedural power unit regulation breaches, the FIA has announced. 

As is the norm under the new financial regulations, all grand prix teams submit their accounts to the governing body for inspection to ensure that the spending limit imposed on teams has not been broken.

Newey hits out at Sky for Verstappen and Vettel 'demonisation'

Adrian Newey has hit out at Sky Sports F1 for its "nationalistic" coverage that he feels led to the "demonisation" of Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel.

Sky has been an F1 broadcast rights holder since 2012, but has recently ran into trouble with Red Bull over its coverage of Verstappen - including a boycott at the 2022 Mexico City Grand Prix from team figures of the channel over comments made by Ted Kravitz on the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Bottas makes F1 future concession as cryptic Audi clue dropped

Valtteri Bottas has conceded that he may be forced to leave Formula 1 if he does not secure the Stake seat for 2025.

Finn Bottas is hoping to retain his seat at Stake for next season ahead of Audi's arrival in 2026, with the 10-time grand prix winner hoping that his experience and knowledge of a championship-winning team in Mercedes will be able to secure him the seat.

Why Aston Martin can dream of Verstappen after Newey signing

Aston Martin confirmed its blockbuster signing of Adrian Newey earlier this week, with the technical mastermind set to join the squad in early 2025.

It is a significant capture for the Silverstone-based outfit and it could create a ripple effect that brings an even bigger name to Aston Martin in the coming years.

Vasseur open to Sainz F1 reunion at Ferrari

Frederic Vasseur has said he would like to work with Carlos Sainz in F1 in the future with the Spaniard leaving Ferrari for Williams at the end of the season.

As team principal of the Scuderia, Vasseur had to make the tough call to replace the 30-year-old, who will make way for seven-time drivers' champion Lewis Hamilton.

Alonso responds to 'inspiration' Newey after 'arch enemy' comment

Fernando Alonso has said witnessing Adrian Newey's success in F1 was an "inspiration" as a rival to the new Aston Martin managing technical partner.

The 65-year-old will join the Silverstone squad in early 2025 upon leaving Red Bull, and the Spanish driver believes he can help transform the outfit into the "team of the future" in F1.
