Mercedes have been the benchmark when it comes to the Formula 1 hybrid era, and the team have given fans a closer look at one of the big reasons behind their success: their power unit.

The Silver Arrows have won seven consecutive constructors' titles while ruling the drivers' standings with an iron fist over that time as well. Lewis Hamilton has won five of the last six titles, with his lone blemish coming in 2016 - when Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg beat him to it.

As a result the rest of the Formula 1 grid is hard at work trying to catch up to Mercedes in a bid to topple them, but they'll have to contend with the 1.6 litre V6 turbo power unit that currently powers the team.
