Following son Max Verstappen's remarkable victory in the São Paulo Grand Prix, father Jos also claimed a comprehensive success.
Seven days on from three-time F1 champion Max's triumph at Interlagos that has left the Red Bull driver on the brink of a fourth consecutive drivers' title, Verstappen Sr won the South Limburg Rally in Belgium, as he did last year.
The rally featured three tests, Walshoutem, Kerkom and Borlo, with each run on four occasions. Verstappen won 11 of the 12 stages overall in his Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 car alongside co-driver Renaud Jamoul.
The only blip was the third of the four runs on Borlo when he was beaten by Kris Princen. The 52-year-old Verstappen still won by 63 seconds to his nearest rival Frederic Miclotte.
"It went really well, I am very pleased,” said Verstappen on verstappen.com. “The course was slightly modified compared to last year. We also entered this race to test a few things, and there is no better place for that than a rally.
"We are aiming to keep improving ourselves. Things are going very well with my co-driver Renaud. He is incredibly driven and professional. You need a good connection and mutual respect, and that is certainly there. It is only getting better.”
