Super GT car flies into the air during terrifying crash
The Fuji GT 300km at Fuji Speedway was shaken up in the opening stages of the race by a harrowing moment on the straight. Nakajima Racing driver Igor Fraga was tapped by a competitor on the start-finish straight, causing his Honda to go airborne and crash heavily.
Fortunately, the car was only airborne for a brief moment, and Fraga is otherwise fine, though he was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The crash did produce some spectacular footage, which you can see above!
