Bahrain Grand Prix 2022

Starting grid for the 2022 F1 Bahrain Grand Prix

Here is the full starting grid for the 2022 F1 Bahrain GP, which will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit on Sunday.

Charles Leclerc will start on pole position for Sunday evening's season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix, just ahead of Max Verstappen.

With their teammates - Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez - locking out the second row of the grid, it means both Ferraris and both Red Bulls line up in the top four positions.

Mercedes were limited to fifth and ninth in qualifying, with Lewis Hamilton ahead of new teammate George Russell, while former Silver Arrows driver Valtteri Bottas impressively managed to get between the pair in his Alfa Romeo.

Another star of qualifying was Kevin Magnussen, as he marked his return to F1 with seventh on the timesheets in a much-improved Haas, which has enabled the team to jump from the back of the grid all the way up to the midfield pack.

The starting grid below is provisional until confirmed by F1's governing body, the FIA.
