Max Verstappen will keep pole for the Japanese Grand Prix after being reprimanded for an incident between himself and Lando Norris during qualifying.

The top three are only separated by 0.057 seconds, with Charles Leclerc lining up second after missing out by just 0.010s.

Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso have good starting positions, having qualified in fifth and seventh on the grid in between the Mercedes drivers, while Sebastian Vettel starts his final Japanese Grand Prix in ninth.

The starting grid below is provisional until confirmed by F1's governing body, the FIA.
