F1 Japanese GP start time
Following a short break, we can enjoy Formula 1 action again this weekend. We return to the legendary Suzuka Circuit, which always guarantees spectacle and great overtakes. Who will shine on this high-speed circuit?
After the sprint weekend in China, we return to a classic schedule in Japan with three free practice sessions, qualifying, and the race. This gives home hero Yuki Tsunoda more time to adjust to the car as he makes his debut for Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen.
The 2025 F1 Japanese GP weekend takes place from Friday, April 4, to Sunday, April 6, marking the third race of the season.
On Friday, the first and second free practice sessions will take place. Saturday’s schedule features the third free practice session, followed by qualifying at 07:00 BST. The race itself kicks off on Sunday, April 6, at 06:00 BST.
