Silverstone is set to avoid rain showers at the 2026 F1 British Grand Prix today.
The morning started with overcast conditions for the F3, F1 Academy, and F2 races. For the F1 grand prix, the current weather forecasts are for similar conditions, with potential sunny intervals throughout, with the race starting at 15:00 BST.
The wind direction could be an important factor during the 52-laps, with the forecasts showing a breeze and gusts coming from the west - which roughly corresponds to a headwind down the Hangar Straight and into Stowe.
It was here Kimi Antonelli overtook Lewis Hamilton to win the Sprint race on Saturday - with those conditions expected to carry over into the grand prix.
