Aston Martin's ambitions under owner Lawrence Stroll seemingly have no limits, with the team investing heavily in a brand-new factory at its campus.

Stroll has also signed technical wizard Adrian Newey from Red Bull, and for 2026, for the first time, the team will become a works outfit with a Honda engine deal in place instead of simply being a Mercedes customer.

All the ingredients are there for Aston Martin, but Stroll is apparently keen to lure the ultimate cherry on his Silverstone cake away from Red Bull: Max Verstappen.

The team quickly quashed rumours of a reported "one billion" offer on the table to the four-time world champion, whose Red Bull contract expires at the end of 2028.

Verstappen has made no secret of his dislike of the direction modern F1 is going in, and is also a target for Mercedes should he decide to leave Milton Keynes.

But do you think he should accept Aston's billion-pound offer?

It would make him the highest-paid driver in F1 by a considerable margin, even more than he is already, but we want to know what you think!
