Andrea Siedl says looking at the "MSC" abbreviation on the Formula 1 timesheets brings him a sense of joy. Mick Schumacher is making perhaps one of F1's most anticipated debuts since Lewis Hamilton made his way to Formula 1 in 2007. The German has decided to use the famous "MSC" abbreviation to display his result on the timesheets. Something that makes Seidl happy. "My heart is warm when I see MSC on the timesheet," Siedl told RTL Germany. "I think it's great that he decided to compete with this abbreviation," with Siedl also confirming that Mick's father, Michael, was a big hero of his. The McLaren head also said he is exicted to see how his compratriot will fare in F1 and how beating his teammate will be the first step to achieving a great career in the sport. "I am now looking forward to seeing how Mick is doing in the first season," Siedl continued. "The strongest opponent or reference is always the team-mate. Especially when you sit in a car that will not be quite as competitive this year. "But I think with everything we've seen with Mick, he has everything he needs to become a top driver in Formula 1 in the future." Schumacher has made a relatively low-key start to his F1 career, the German completed a total of 181 laps over the course of the three-day preseason test in Baharain setting the 19th fastest time.
