Just a few short days after the season-opening Grand Prix in Bahrain, the 2022 Formula 1 season continues apace as the sport heads to Saudi Arabia for round two.
The inaugural Saudi Arabia GP was held just three months ago, the penultimate race of the 2021 season, with the Jeddah Corniche Circuit undergoing some minor tweaking for its second race this weekend.
Last time, it was Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen who went toe-to-toe in Jeddah as their 2021 title fight escalated – will we see similar dramas this weekend as Ferrari have joined the fight at the front?
The weekend will follow the usual format, with two 60-minute practice sessions taking place on Friday. FP1 is scheduled for 14:00 UK time, and FP2 follows at 17:00.
On Saturday, FP3 will be held at 14:00, before the first qualifying session of the season occurs at 17:00. This will determine the grid for Sunday's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, which starts at 18:00.
