Charles Leclerc delivered a "fucking embarrassing" assessment of Ferrari's Las Vegas Grand Prix qualifying, after securing ninth on the grid.
In tricky wet conditions in Sin City, Leclerc was the sole Ferrari to get to Q3, with Lewis Hamilton qualifying slowest of all in 20th in Q1, as the Monegasque was unable to get higher than the fifth row.
After being informed by race engineer Bryan Bozzi of his position alongside Pierre Gasly, Leclerc delivered an honest assessment of the session, featuring expletives.
"My god, embarrassing, fucking embarrassing," he began over the team radio.
"Fucking hell. I don't get how we can be so far off the pace. There is like zero grip, zero fucking grip."
Leclerc finished just under one second down on pole-sitter Lando Norris as Ferrari's poor season continued.
