For the third season in succession, Max Verstappen is F1's highest-paid driver, earning a sensational $75 million.

According to Forbes, Verstappen received an estimated salary of $60 million, plus $15 million in bonuses.

The Red Bull driver clinched a fourth consecutive drivers' title with two races remaining, following a title fight with McLaren's Lando Norris.

Norris has moved into the top three, receiving a basic $12 million salary, plus $23 million in bonuses, to rake in $35 million in total. Forbes' figures consist solely of driver salaries and bonuses rather than endorsements.

Sandwiched between Verstappen and Norris on the list is Lewis Hamilton, who earned an estimated $57 million in his final campaign with Mercedes.

The seven-time world champion earned $18 million less than Verstappen, with his earnings estimated to be a $55 million salary and $2 million in bonuses.

Despite a disappointing season, Fernando Alonso is fourth on the list, raking in an estimated $27.5 million, whilst Charles Leclerc completes the top-five on $27 million.

Combined, Forbes estimates the top 10 earners made $317 million, a 23% increase on last year's combined top-10 figure.
