Reigning world darts champion Luke Littler will make an appearance at this year's British Grand Prix, alongside fellow darts players Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen and Fallon Sherrock.
It has been announced that on the Sunday evening after the race at Silverstone, A Night of the Darts will take place, with the four players set to take to the oche.
The event will take place at Silverstone's BOXPARK trackside fan park, in collaboration with DartsWorld and MODUS.
Silverstone's latest addition to the British GP, across July 2-5, follows the news that David Guetta will be this year's headline music act.
"We’re always looking for new ways to elevate the fan experience, and this announcement reflects exactly that ambition," said Silverstone’s Chief Commercial Officer Nick Read.
"The British Grand Prix is already one of the biggest weekends on the UK sporting calendar, and bringing a world-class darts spectacle to Silverstone adds a new level of drama and atmosphere.
"Fans can enjoy two major sports in one ticketed experience, creating a one-of-a-kind day on and off the circuit. It’s about delivering more excitement, more entertainment, and even greater value for everyone who joins us."
For Dutch sporting legend van Gerwen, it is an event he is highly excited about, largely due to the significant crowd which will be in attendance.
"This is exactly the sort of night I live for, big crowd, big noise, big occasion," said van Gerwen. "Put darts in the middle of a place like Silverstone, and you know it’s going to be loud, intense, and full of energy.
"We’re coming there to entertain, but make no mistake, once I’m on that stage, I want to win."
