Red Bull was forced to make a major change to Max Verstappen's car on the grid minutes before the Chinese Grand Prix.
Verstappen encountered an issue with his RB22 on a reconnaissance lap at the Shanghai International Circuit, leading to the quick-fire change.
Team principal Laurent Mekies confirmed: "We had an issue with the actuation of the rear wing coming to the grid, and it's been replaced."
Mekies indicated these were still early days with F1's new regulations, and the teams were encountering teething problems.
"It's still a very new car, it's the beginning of the season, and everything is pushed to the limit," said Mekies. "But the guys have been incredible, and they've reacted very, very quickly."
Verstappen starts from eighth place in China.
