Red Bull has won the 2023 Constructors' Championship with a dominant drive from Max Verstappen in the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka.

Heading into the race, Red Bull knew that it would be able to retain its title if it out-scored Mercedes by a single point and if it was not out-scored by Ferrari by 24 points.

While Sergio Perez retired after a chaotic opening to the Grand Prix, Max Verstappen was able to win from pole position - also getting the fastest lap for a haul of 26 points.

Ferrari scored 20 points through fourth and sixth for Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz while Mercedes could only manage a fifth and seventh for Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, meaning Christian Horner's squad banked its sixth title.

Verstappen did not secure the Drivers' crown, and is 177 points ahead of Perez in the standings - with 180 on the board heading to the Qatar Grand Prix Sprint weekend.
