Red Bull has opted to make power unit changes to all four of its F1 cars across the Milton Keynes squad and Racing Bulls ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The RB21s of Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda, and VCARB 02s of Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar, have been fitted with brand new energy stores (ES) and control electronics (CE) at the Sakhir International Circuit.
Each driver is allowed to use two of each component across the season, and will likely switch back to the first unit of each at some point across the year.
It is an earlier change that expected and there has been no prior anticipation that the team would make those switches.
No other team has made any power unit changes ahead of the fourth round of the campaign, but Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli appears to have a season-ending water pressure issue during FP1 in Bahrain.
