Red Bull has been handed a €50,000 fine, €25,000 of which is suspended for the remainder of the 2025 season after a post-race investigation at the US Grand Prix.

The Milton Keynes-based squad was called for an alleged infringement of Article 12.2.1.i of the FIA International Sporting Code.

The summons came shortly after Max Verstappen sealed his fifth victory of the season with a dominant display at the Circuit of the Americas.

Red Bull was flagged for a grid-related incident as the stewards alleged the team failed to “follow the instructions of relevant officials”.

Explaining their verdict, the stewards declared this related to a team member who entered the gate well area of Gate 1 after the formation lap had commenced.

The stewards took the matter seriously as they considered it an “unsafe act” by the Red Bull team member.

Red Bull exit the weekend three points behind Ferrari in the constructors' standings, while Mercedes sit just 10 points ahead in second place.
