Pierre Gasly and George Russell both face a potential disadvantage at the Italian Grand Prix - in that they have no new soft tyres left.
The front-row pair head into the race with only new medium and new hard tyres, locking them into one of Pirelli's pre-race predictions of a medium-hard strategy, stopping between Laps 24-30 of 53 for the sole stop.
However, all of those around the front-row, including both Ferraris from the second row, have a new set of softs, a new medium, and a new hard to choose from, opening up more strategy variations.
One such is to start on the softs until Laps 19-25 before switching to mediums, or alternatively, running the mediums from the start until Laps 30-36, before a short blast to the flag.
