Sergio Perez has been summoned along with a Red Bull team member for an alleged breach of Article 12.2.1 K of the International Sporting Code in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for radio comments.

During the race, Perez attempted to pass McLaren's Lando Norris on the brakes at Turn 6, but got deep and hit the Briton, causing Norris to head for the run-off.

He was hit with a five-second time penalty by the stewards, dropping him from second on the road at the flag to fourth place and off the podium.

Over the radio, Perez said "You know these stewards are not at F1 level."

As such, the stewards have requested to see Perez at 20:15 local time, 16:15 UK time for the breach of the ISC.

It refers to "any misconduct" towards officials, including the stewards.

In the lengthy verdict, Perez was handed a formal warning by the "conflicted" stewards, who noted his remorse.
