Perez loses engine cover on his Red Bull during testing

It was all going so well for Red Bull but they suffered their first issue of the weekend when Sergio Perez lost his engine cover as he was driving down the main straight.

It appears as if turbulence has caused the engine cover on Sergio Perez's to rip off his RB16B. The incident has led to the session being red-flagged. The incident occurred on the main straight as Perez was following the Williams of Nicholas Latifi. Watch what happens below.
