A significant majority of F1 fans believe Oscar Piastri will win the F1 championship fight against team-mate Lando Norris this year.

Piastri currently holds a 31-point lead over Norris with eight rounds remaining in the season.

The battle between the pair has been close all year round; however, a power unit issue for Norris at the Dutch Grand Prix allowed Piastri to build a significant advantage in the standings.

Norris narrowed the gap to Piastri last time out at Monza by three points after taking second on the road, while Piastri had to settle for third following a divisive team order.

Following the race, RacingNews365 asked you, the fans, to vote on a poll over who would win out in the title battle.

As the final third of the campaign approaches, almost three-quarters of F1 fans believe Piastri will see out the year at the top of the standings.

It's a stark contrast to the 18% of voters, who state Norris can overcome the margin.
