The Automobile Club de Monaco has denied reports claiming the Monaco Grand Prix, which is scheduled from May 20 to May 23, could be cancelled. Events held at street or temporary venues are viewed as being more susceptible to cancellation due to the time and resources needed to prepare the circuits. As a result recent rumours have suggested that Monaco, along with Azerbaijan and Canada, could be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, as previously reported by RacingNews365 , the ACM has come out and stated that all of its events will go ahead as scheduled.

The AMC are planning on holding three events on the streets of the principality rather than the customary two, with the Historic GP taking up the extra slot after being cancelled last year. As a result action on the track for the historic event is set to begin on April 23 meaning preparations must begin earlier than normal.
