Ollie Bearman and Esteban Ocon will be required to visit the stewards at the British Grand Prix after the former pushed both into a spin during the race at Silverstone.
It was an unnecessary contact between the Haas team-mates. Bearman lunged down the inside of the Frenchman at Brooklands and could be deemed to have caused the collision.
It has been a messy weekend for the 20-year-old, who was handed a 10-place grid penalty and four penalty points for a red flag infringement during qualifying.
He overcooked his pit entry under those conditions, when he could have been significantly slower, hitting the wall at pit entry and wiping off the nose on his VF-25.
He is now at eight of 12 allowed penalty points for the 12-month period and could receive more for this latest incident.
The official summons document confirmed the pair will visit the stewards at 17:30 local time.
The document said it was for an "alleged breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 2 d) of the International Sporting Code", which is: "Causing a collision, repetition of serious mistakes or the appearance of a lack of control over the car (such as leaving the track) will be reported to the Stewards and may entail the imposition of penalties up to and including the disqualification of any driver concerned."
