Max Verstappen decided to let the United States Grand Prix stewards do the talking for him following another titanic tussle with F1 title rival Lando Norris.
The McLaren driver had reeled in the Red Bull driver with fresher hard tyres, and by lap 52 of 56 they were going wheel to wheel at the Circuit of the Americas.

Lando Norris was left baffled by the decisions of the United States Grand Prix stewards after twice being on the receiving end in his latest tense scrap with F1 title rival Max Verstappen.
The initial incident at Turn 1 appeared to be nothing more than an opening-lap, first-corner, let-them-race skirmish as second-on-the-grid Verstappen squeezed through a tight gap on the inside of polesitter Norris, forcing them both wide, allowing Ferrari's Charles Leclerc to take full advantage.

Stella criticises 'inappropriate' Verstappen-Norris stewards action
McLaren team principal Andrea Stella has criticised the stewards for taking "inappropriate" action during Lando Norris' battle with Max Verstappen.
Norris and Verstappen fought for third in the closing laps of the United States Grand Prix, with the reigning world champion having come out on top.

Horner delivers 'illegal' verdict on Norris
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has insisted that Lando Norris' overtake on Max Verstappen was "illegal" in the closing laps of the United States Grand Prix.
Norris received a five-second time penalty for gaining an advantage off the circuit at Turn 12, where he overtook the reigning world champion on lap 52.
