Adrian Newey is about to announce his departure from Red Bull, according to reports in German media.

Doubts about the long-term future of Red Bull's Chief Technical Officer have been growing, especially as Ferrari is keen to fulfil a long-held ambition to sign the Briton.

Hulkenberg set to sign for new F1 team

In late 2023, RacingNews365 was informed that Audi was very keen on bringing Nico Hulkenberg to the team - and that a contract had been offered to the German for 2024 at the Stake team.

Sources have now indicated to RacingNews365 that Hulkenberg is now set to sign for Audi, thus becoming a Stake driver in 2025 before the Ingolstadt concern arrives in '26.

F1 delays final decision over revamped points system

A decision over the proposed revamped points system in Formula 1 has been deferred following a meeting of the F1 Commission.

The panel, made up of the Commercial Rights Holder, the FIA and the 10 teams, met on Thursday to discuss plans to freshen-up the points system with the top 12 being awarded points.

Rosberg details uncompromising Mercedes crash policy

Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton's bitter rivalry whilst team-mates at Mercedes was one of the most fiercely fought intra-team battles in recent memory.

The pair came together on a number of occasions during their four years racing alongside each other for the Brackley-based team, particularly between 2014-2016, when the two were close competitors for the F1 drivers' title.

Mercedes in Hamilton admission over China performance

Mercedes' James Allison has admitted that he did not expect Lewis Hamilton to hold onto second place in the Chinese Grand Prix sprint, given the car deficit the team has.

Hamilton qualified in second for Saturday's shorter race in Shanghai, the first time he's been on the front-row since pole position in Hungary last season, and led into Turn 1 after forcing Lando Norris wide.

How Hulkenberg to Audi would affect Stake and Haas

The F1 driver market is no zero-sum game - but for every move there are winners and there are losers.
