McLaren unveil 'legendary' Singapore special livery

The one-off design will be used by Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in Singapore.

McLaren has unveiled a 'Legend Reborn' special livery for the Singapore Grand Prix, honouring the team's most successful period in F1.  For the Marina Bay race, the MCL38s will run in a livery akin to the 1981-1996 MP4 era of McLaren under Sir Ron Dennis, when the red and white Marlboro cars dominated grand prix racing, especially in the late 1980s, early 1990s. Niki Lauda, Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna won seven drivers' titles between them for the team between 1984 and 1991, and are among 13 drivers paid to tribute in the design. McLaren is the third team to unveil a special Singapore livery, following in Mercedes who have a Petronas 50th anniversary special and RB, who have gone for a denim jean-inspired design.
