McLaren has unveiled a special one-off race livery that it will use during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend.

Abu Dhabi will host the final round of the Formula 1 campaign with a handful of teams carrying over special liveries from Las Vegas to the Yas Marina Circuit.

However, McLaren has adopted a brand new colour scheme for the event, inspired by the Driven By Change campaign.

McLaren launched the campaign at the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and returned with another altered livery at last year's event in Abu Dhabi.

For the 2023 event, the livery has been designed by artist Nujood Al-Otaibi, and “showcases the unique way Nujood interprets sound after being diagnosed with a hearing impairment at a young age”.

As well as the new livery, Nujood's signature will be present on the Halo and the nose section of the MCL60.

McLaren enters the race weekend looking to stay ahead of Aston Martin for fifth place in the Constructors' Championship.

Just 11 points separate the two squads as McLaren aims to end a season in which it recovered strongly from the back of the grid on a high.
