Max Verstappen has scored another crushing victory ahead of his attempt to end his on-track winless grand prix drought in Singapore.
Verstappen finally triumphed at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Saturday, winning the sprint from pole, aided by George Russell's early retirement at the end of the opening lap after he passed the Dutch driver on the run-down to Turn 1.
Verstappen, however, made clear after claiming pole position for the grand prix that the only success that matters in Singapore is winning the main event after failing to do so in nine previous attempts.
Marina Bay is one of only two circuits where Verstappen has not won in his 249-race career; the other being the Madring, which hosted the Spanish GP for the first time in September.
Ahead of the grand prix, RacingNews365 asked for your vote as to who would win the race following Verstappen's pole heroics ahead of the Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, who line up second and third.
Verstappen scored almost 66 per cent of the vote, with Hamilton his nearest challenger with 18 per cent, followed by Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli in his Mercedes, with 5.68 and 4.83 per cent, respectively.
