Max Verstappen has been backed by F1 fans to come out on top at the Monaco Grand Prix and stop Mercedes' run of victories.
The Dutchman will start the race from second on the grid, behind pole-sitter Kimi Antonelli, who is seeking to secure his fifth victory of the season.
However, a glaring weakness of the Mercedes team this year has been its race starts, and it has failed to lead into Turn 1 at most rounds so far this year.
Track position after the opening laps crucial for the outcome of the race due to the lack of overtaking opportunities around the circuit.

38 per cent of voters think Verstappen is the most likely for the top spot, while Kimi Antonelli is the second favourite with 34 per cent of the share.
Lewis Hamilton, who starts third on the road, was third on the vote list on just under 19 per cent.
