Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas topped the timing charts of the Friday morning practice session for the Portuguese Grand Prix, edging out Max Verstappen by two hundredths of a second.
Drivers struggled with tyre temperatures during the first session, and world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton was only able to set a lap time good enough for fifth place overall.
