Lewis Hamilton topped the opening two hours of the weekend, performing a near-180 on the form he and his Mercedes W15 were able to produce in the previous round, the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.

Ferrari and McLaren also appear to have front-running pace under the lights of Sin City's infamous strip, but Red Bull and Max Verstappen have been conspicuously missing in action.
