Friday of the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix was firmly Lando Norris's day, with the McLaren driver fastest in FP2.
Not only did he have a comfortable two-tenth advantage in the qualifying simulations, but he also held a sizeable gap to Max Verstappen in the race runs to the tune of about three-tenths per lap, on a harder tyre.
Norris finished second at the Hungaroring 12 months ago, and will be looking to convert this pace into a second career win, with Verstappen in the upgraded RB20 leading the hunt.
But can anyone get near Norris? Will Mercedes be able to get into the mix at a track it has taken the last four pole positions at?
We will get further clues in FP3.
