Free Practice 2 at the 2024 F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix promises to be the most representative session of the weekend for drivers.
Held under lights as day turns to dusk, it is the only practice session to be held in similar conditions to qualifying and the race.
The FP1 times were topped by Charles Leclerc for Ferrari - but their constructors' title hopes have taken a blow after a new energy store was taken - his third of two permitted in the season, triggering a 10-place grid penalty.
Elsewhere, Max Verstappen will be on-track for the first time in the weekend, re-assuming his Red Bull from FP1 rookie Isack Hadjar.
